Operating Instructions

  1. Spray top and bottom grids with Waffle World Grid Conditioner before turning on.
  2. Plug baker in, press switch to “On” and preheat baker, which should take about 20 minutes. “Ready” green light beside timer will turn on when baker is preheated, and cycle off and on as heat is required.
  3. After baker is preheated pour one and one-half (1 ½) cups of waffle mix, from a measuring cup, on to the bottom grid, making sure that you pour mix from the outside edges of the grid in, so that the mix reaches all sides and corners to allow you to easily remove the waffle when baked.
  4. Set timer for exactly five (5) minutes first, then lower top grid. There might be some overflow which you can stop by lifting the top grid ever so slightly until overflowing stops. DO NOT LIFT TOP GRID TOO MUCH OR YOU WILL SPLIT WAFFLE.
  5. When timer rings, lift top grid slowly, to ensure that waffle is not stuck to it, then remove waffle from bottom grid using a TEFLON SPATULA, and place waffle bottom side up on cutting board. If waffle sticks to top grid, use TEFLON SPATULA to remove waffle from the top grid by gently raising and lowering the top grid approximately one to two inches. NEVER USE ANY METAL OR SHARP INSTRUMENTS ON THE GRIDS, AS THEY WILL SCRATCH THE COATING.
  6. EACH AND EVERYTIME YOU REMOVE A WAFFLE FROM THE BAKER, MAKE SURE BOTH GRIDS ARE BRUSHED CLEAN.
  7. Cut waffle into twelve (12) pieces and place on raised wire racks until served. If waffles have cooled down, you can place them on the bottom grids, best side down, lower the top grid for about 10-15 seconds, remove and serve.
  8. Repeat these procedures each and every time you bake a waffle.
